To be honest, I don't have much to say about ongoing geopolitical events that hasn't already been said in previous threads (e.g. with India/Pakistan, Trump/Putin, and of course occupied Palestine), so this is more of a "news roundup" preamble for this week.

As we all know, the US (and the imperial core generally) has only three permitted international actions: sanctions, color revolution, and war. None of these have been going well lately, but sanctions are in particularly dire straits right now. Three examples from the last week or so:

  • The EU is on its 17th sanctions package, apparently, which is surprising, as I thought they were on their 76th or something. It apparently targets Russia's shadow fleet of oil tankers, but I don't think anybody actually gives a shit because we all know it won't achieve anything, so, moving on...

  • The head of Nvidia (as well as many others) have come out and said that the US chip export controls on China have failed, remarking that China's internal motivations to develop alternatives are strong and proceeding rapidly, especially as China's number of skilled scientists is only growing. Nvidia has said that they had a 95% share of China's AI chip market in 2020 or so, but now they only have 50%.

  • Lastly, an interesting one: Iran has received its first set of railway shipment of solar panels from China, and there is hope for accelerating shipments of even more products. Myself and many others have predicted a decoupling of Iran from the West and towards China and Russia (especially if any Western-built product could have Israeli devices implanted into them, such as with the pager terrorist attack on Lebanon's doctors), and having a strong link with China will be a necessary step for Iran and their allies to continue their offensives against Israel.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

honk-enraged Still about Portugal's recent election and the rise of the far-right Chega.

By now pretty much everyone is correctly blaming the media for promoting the far-right. There was a recent article on a lib website that had some quite materialist takes and very illustrative graphs

In Portugal, journalists are ‘the armed wing of Chega’s narrative’

André Ventura has become one of the most frequent special guests on television. Between the last two elections, he was interviewed 108% more than the leader of the largest opposition party. Researchers and journalists warn of a dangerous concession to commercial interests that, instead of curbing populist narratives, amplify them.

“television stations know that they can expect higher ratings with André Ventura in the studio than with any other political figure.” The audience figures provided by the responsible entities CAEM/MediaMonitor confirm this.

More than 85% of television interviews with André Ventura increased the average audience for the time slot in which they were broadcast. Inviting the leader of Chega attracted, on average, around 39,000 more viewers than the average for the last four broadcasts at the same time slot on the same day of the week. The presence of the radical populist right meant a 15.4% increase in the average audience.

Look at the image attached, I didn't even realize how crazy it got because I don't watch TV.

Votes from abroad will start being counted today, so tomorrow we'll know wether the far-right or center-left will take second place.

https://news.cgtn.com/news/2025-05-25/DPRK-detains-three-officials-amid-warship-accident-probe-1DEBy7qUBXy/p.html

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has detained three shipyard officials over a recent major accident during the launch of a newly built 5,000-tonne warship, state media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Sunday.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, called the accident a "criminal act" that damaged the country's dignity after witnessing the failed launch.

He ordered the immediate restoration of the destroyer, saying it is "not merely a practical issue, but a political issue directly related to the authority of the state," according to KCNA.

Amid an ongoing investigation, the authorities arrested Kang Jong Chol, chief engineer of the Chongjin Shipyard; Han Kyong Hak, head of the hull construction workshop; and Kim Yong Hak, deputy manager for administrative affairs, KCNA said.

:sicko-jensen:

The company describes the G100 as China's first domestically designed 6 nm GPU, marking a significant milestone in its effort to challenge established industry players. With the first silicon now operational, Lisuan is moving into driver development, software validation, and broader system integration testing. Although Lisuan has provided few formal specifications, rumors indicate that SMIC is fabbing the G100 die, currently the only Chinese foundry capable of producing a 6 nm node under US export restrictions.

Behind the Enemy Everywhere: Return of Palestinian External Ops? - Moussa al-Sadah

Full TextIn 1971, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) published an issue of its journal Al-Hadaf, dedicating its second edition to the topic ‘The PFLP and External Operations.’ The piece explored the Front’s rationale and its responses to the varied reactions surrounding the operations it had launched since July 1968. Operations that included hijackings and bombing Israeli companies and embassies across Europe.

The Front’s response focused on its fundamental principles, chiefly, the nature and definition of the enemy. According to the PFLP, the enemy camp is a triad: The Israeli Entity (Zionist movement), global imperialism, and Arab reactionaries. This, the Front argued, was a precise diagnosis of the conflict. Consequently, it maintained that targeting the enemy should not be restricted by geography, since the enemy itself had made the entire world a battlefield.

The second pillar of the PFLP’s reasoning concerned media and mobilization: external operations, far from tarnishing the Palestinian cause, were in fact a form of revolutionary media that forced the world to listen to the Palestinians. “These operations,” the pamphlet stated, “are revolutionary propaganda that pulls out the wax from European ears.” During that period, the media dimension was central to the fedayeen who carried out such missions. In the collective will and testament of the martyrs of the 1972 Munich operation, the fighters wrote: “We hope our revolutionary action will help the world grasp the grotesque reality of the Zionist occupation in our land. Our revolutionary method aims to expose Zionist-imperialist ties.”

The martyrs, and the Front, were right. These operations functioned as screams against a near-total Zionist grip over global media. For Palestinians and Arabs living under suffocating silence, these missions were screams embodied in flesh and blood. As martyr Nizar Banat once put it: “In the 1970s, Palestinians struck hard, and the world sympathized. It sympathized when we struck back.”

Today’s reality is not far from the logic the PFLP once laid out. In fact, the enemy camp, with its Zionist, imperialist, and reactionary Arab lackeys, has never been more bloodthirsty. The media logic also remains sound: armed resistance is still the most potent form of revolutionary media. What has changed, however, is that new communications tools have enabled armed struggle within occupied Palestine to become the primary focus. For those who believe that today’s narrative shift in our favor is due to a global moral awakening in the face of genocide: imagine for a moment if the resistance in Gaza were to surrender, if the Israeli army marched in and handed the Strip over to the Palestinian Authority. How would the narrative look then, especially if written by collaborators with the occupation?

The rise of the “red triangle” marks a historic shift: for the first time, we are witnessing widespread admiration and respect for armed resistance, perhaps even more than the Viet Cong or Algeria’s FLN once received. Even amid vast ideological differences among Palestine supporters (and among Palestinians and Arabs themselves) “they are all red triangles,” as one friend put it. What the resistance’s ambushes protect is the Zionists’ worst nightmare: our unique and unbroken fusion of heroism and victimhood—a paradox that we express without contradiction. In this same vein, the operations in Yemen echo the historical model of “external operations.” If a bomb planted in the late 1960s at the ZIM Shipping Company’s office in London symbolized external targeting, then Yemen’s strikes today hit the company’s nerve center.

But our central and most pressing issue remains this: shifts in narratives, no matter how strategically important, do not stop a genocide. While Yemen has successfully confronted the US and harmed their interests, it has not yet succeeded in forcing the enemy to cease its extermination campaign. Returning to the PFLP’s handbook, its strategic guidance is worth recalling: “We must adopt the principle of adapting to the objective conditions of the battle, to the nature of the enemy and its tools.”

Hence, despite the anguish and rage, imagine that decades from now we ask ourselves: how did the Zionist bastards massacre us so thoroughly? How were we not “behind the enemy everywhere”?

Still, this question demands strategic analysis. One of the lessons from PFLP’s literature is the importance of debating strategy, something the resistance movements have often lacked in an era poisoned by fanfare and blind glorification, with devastating consequences. Ironically, the same booklet warned of the enemy’s ability to “sway those high on sectarianism, regionalism, or personal gain” (noting that “sectarianism” then referred more to factionalism than today’s usage).

This is a thorny issue. One could argue, with good reason, that such operations today might backfire, reviving Zionist propaganda that frames its war as an extension of the global “War on Terror.” This could also deepen western involvement in the efforts to exterminate us. Additionally, the fantasy that western powers will intervene to stop the genocide out of concern for their own internal stability is a weak and unlikely scenario. One thing is non-negotiable, however: targeting soldiers and settlers on Arab land and in normalizing Arab states is not only legitimate, it’s long overdue.

In this bleak chapter of our struggle, we have three immediate goals: stop the war, end the occupation of Gaza, and lift the siege. Achieving them means breaking the Israeli right wing and Netanyahu himself. But domestically, there’s no viable Zionist “division” to exploit; Netanyahu still commands a solid majority. His assassination, in this stage, would be both decisive and beneficial. Yet the real pressure point lies outside, within the US administration and, specifically, in the figure of Donald Trump. The key question, then, is how to force the Americans to put a leash on their rabid dog.

Two years into this war, we don’t have many tools left, and due to miscalculations, we’ve mishandled the ones we did possess. What remains is the global pressure born of Zionist genocidal violence: its impact on media narratives and public opinion. But even this tool is limited. While genocide may have spurred global revulsion towards Zionism, it has paradoxically instilled fear, leading to cowardly retreats and survivalist instincts. The impact of this tool, though measurable in small shifts in public opinion, is unreliable and too slow. Time is made of blood and children’s limbs, and the Americans and Zionists have already accepted the cost of bad PR. They’ve doubled down.

Our next tool is Yemen, which continues to perform admirably. One of its most revolutionary traits is the relentless search for any way to exert pressure. The rage and urgency that shape its decision-making are signs of real revolutionary will. It is admittedly true that the blood of its leaders boils at every image coming out of Gaza.

The last tool is Gaza’s own endurance, and the legendary ability of its fighters to hurt the enemy. Zionism faces a strategic dilemma here: it has failed to fracture Gaza’s internal cohesion or create rifts between its people and the resistance. Even those who oppose Hamas know they share the same fate. Both sides know that their only salvation lies in the release of the captives. And as for us, who among us has the heart to look Gazans in the eye and say: hold on a little longer?

Within this strategic diagnosis, it is our duty to support these three tools: global pressure, the fortified front in Yemen, and Gaza’s unbreakable resilience. Support can come in words, funds, and perseverance, similar to that of Yemen’s. If the long-term answer to what is to be done? lies in reactivating the tools of the Second Intifada, then the urgent question of the moment is: Will Netanyahu’s madness trigger the reawakening of the tools that preceded it? Even if it takes the form of senseless violence in the face of total deadlock?

This is an edited translation of an article originally published in Arabic."

I have not seen anyone report on this yet here, though I might have missed it, so apologies if this repeating any information already seen. Suriyakmaps (a very solid source on Syria, though more followed for Ukraine war updates) has recently been reporting on the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria, which was formed last December as the Southern Liberation Front (changed its name in January). I will copy-paste two posts, the first being general information from last Friday (23/05) and the second being a statement from the group yesterday (26/05). The channel intends to continue to report on Syrian internal politics.

23/05 Regarding the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria: 🇸🇾

Last May 5 the organization held its first First Extraordinary General Conference with which a common roadmap for the resistance in Syria was established.

  1. Establish the identity of the independent Islamic resistance and reject the projects of division and normalization.
  2. To declare the legitimate and realistic position in the face of the dominant forces and imposed projects.
  3. Draft a global action charter that renews the pact and lays the foundation for the next phase.
  4. Launching of a general media, organizational and political mobilization inside and outside the country.
  5. Unify the ranks of the resistance around leadership, weapons and resistance consciousness raising.

The Resistance criticized the new Syrian authorities (STG/HTS) for destroying any hope for peace in Syria by discriminating against women and minorities compared to the previous stage, denouncing the lack of freedom, security and dignity. It also emphasized the need for a strong and sovereign economy that should be linked to social justice, sustainability, decentralization in order to enhance the reconstruction and welfare of the people. Also mentioned were the ties with the diaspora and its relevant role in building new support networks for the country from abroad. He also highlighted secrecy and dissidence as indispensable elements for the success of the resistance. A call was made for the union of the rest of the dissident groups under a single command in order to fight side by side against the project of partition and occupation of the country. Finally, a declaration of struggle for the establishment of the Third Syrian Republic based on a comprehensive charter of coexistence, equality among components, and a clear definition of the common enemy.

Currently the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria (IRFS) is composed of the following groups:

  • Saraya al Aaren (note: an Alawite militia in Latakia)
  • Syrian Popular Resistance (note: an Assadist insurgent group formed last December)
  • Ya Baqiyyata Allah (note: I haven't been able to find any info on this group, but I haven't looked far)

The Coastal Shield group, one of the main actors of the March uprising on the coast, was excluded after its rapprochement with Israel and advocating the creation of an Alawite state. As mentioned above, the IRSF receives support and funding from Iran in the sense of fighting the Israeli occupation in Syria. However, the funding of the resistance actually comes from various private Syrian groups abroad (diaspora). Regarding its composition, the organization is quite heterogeneous, composed of former SAA members, former Syrian rebels, civilians, clerics and Lebanese militants (Syrian diaspora, SSNP members), so it has merit to have achieved a common sheet in such a short time, although many of its principles remain diffuse. Despite their differences, there is a common goal: the establishment of a Third Syrian Republic. This is important because it implies the creation of a new state project that breaks with the past and is inclusive of all Syrians. That is why the members of the resistance do not have strong links with the previous political regime. Secrecy is one of the key pieces of this group. However, this does not mean that anonymity is eternal. The resistance is arming itself significantly and is increasing its networks throughout much of the country. Moreover, following Jolani's normalization stance with Israel, the STG becomes not only a political but also a military rival.

Does this imply a serious uprising in the near future?🇸🇾 It will depend on the capabilities of the resistance in a few months and the degree of control of the STG over the country (increasingly fragmented) It is really more likely to see a coastal uprising by the Coastal Shield, an armed group that increasingly adopts a more identitarian vision towards the Alawites. This group also receives external funding, from Syrian and Russian businessmen, while integrating Alawites in its ranks and some Sunnis. They see Russia as a natural ally despite its passivity in recent months, but it is the support they need to succeed in revolting. Like the IRFS they have broken with the previous political regime although in this case the control of the past of its members is not so strict.

26/05 Statement from the IRFS:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Rather, we cast truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and instantly it recedes.

Statement issued by the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria - All Power First

Flagrant violations of Syrian sovereignty by various occupation forces continue. In the south, the enemy continues to penetrate deep into Syria, reaching Quneitra Governorate. In the north, the Turkish occupation is expanding its presence and positions. While the de facto authority ignores these attacks, disregards the logic of sovereignty, and completely bows down to the will of the United States and Zionism after opening the homeland's airspace to enemies and violating its land and the privacy of its members, the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria, the first of the brave, expresses its total condemnation of authoritarian practices and its contempt for the repeated aggression against the homeland. It does not ignore the occupation's practices and will not remain a spectator, even as it prepares, equips, and elevates its organizational level to address national diversity. The Zionist enemy, in cooperation with this authority, seeks to liquidate the cause, dissolve the components of the Syrian state, and expand its security within our territory. This is an important indication that we, with God's help, are capable and fully confident of transcending Palestinian borders and responding with the appropriate logic that the enemy and its agents understand. God will fulfill His purpose, and our decision remains resistance.

stabby-crab Results from abroad for Portugal's election last week have come in, it's official, the far-right has overtaken the default center-left party by 2MPs, becoming the largest party in the opposition to an already right-wing government, the socialist party didn't elect any MPs from the 2 Abroad circuits for the first time ever.

In fact the far-right got the most votes in both the Europe and Out-of-Europe circuits, nearly 100k votes, including in big portuguese communities like the one in Luxembourg and France (where there are reports of portuguese immigrants being discriminated against). So yeah, an anti-immigration party is the favorite among....portuguese immigrants abroad, fuck these people, it's pure "fuck you got mine"

I remember when I was 13 an uncle of mine who lives in france called my house and I was the only one home so we talked for a bit and he ended up making me look up the website of a literally Salazarist party to learn more about them pretending he was the one who didn't know what it was, I didn't even know what a political party was at the time. I told my mom years later and she just said "yeah your uncle is crazy".

Emigration is oddly romanticized in this country, a bunch had to do it during the austerity years (2011-2015), but since then it has calmed down, however the "I want to leave this country it sucks because of woke/taxes/socialism/big state" discourse is hugely popular among the youth, and if you're young and in a fake job like IT you'll be probably asked by everyone why you're not working in Dusseldorf or some shit.

A bridge collapsed onto a moving passenger train in Russia, killing the crew and injuring many others. Unsurprisingly there are claims of sabotage, including potential detonation of explosives.

Tough to say what really happened at this point, although the timing of the collapse is suspicious. I guess there should be plenty of witnesses if there was an explosion?

"Forum of Supporters of the Struggle against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism - "For the Freedom of Nations! also known as FFN is a Russian-led inter-party movement uniting various political parties of the states of the Second and Third World with the stated aim of countering modern manifestations of colonialism.

The movement was officially created in February 2024 on the initiative of the United Russia Party after the founding General Assembly of the "Forum of Supporters of the Fight against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism" was held in Moscow. Since then, political parties from more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and the CIS have joined the movement.

Chairman: Dmitry Medvedev

Countering modern neocolonial practices is understood by supporters as the main goal of the "For the Freedom of Nations!" Movement. These practices include the imposition of sanctions and restrictive measures, weaponization of currencies, cultural indoctrination, falsification of history, information and psychological campaigns, etc. The Movement positions itself as a Forum for consolidation of the political movements from countries of the Global South.

Some of it's members are: Algeria's FNL, Azerbaijan's New Azerbaijan Party, Belarus' Belaya Rus, Brazil's Workers' Party (PT), Venezuela's PSUV, South Africa's ANC, China's CPC, Laos' Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Indonesia's GOLKAR, Serbia's Serbian Peoples' Party, Myanmar's Union Solidarity and Development Party and many others.

So is this part of BRICS or just some Russian exclusive friendly political parties club?

Panamanian Teachers Lead Indefinite Strike Against Neoliberal Insurance Law - Telesur English

Article

Panamanian teachers’ unions have launched an indefinite strike against Law 462, denouncing privatization of social security and government repression. Progressive groups join calls for repeal and national sovereignty.

Panama is witnessing a historic mobilization as teachers’ unions, supported by progressive social movements, continue an indefinite strike that began on April 23. The protests are a direct response to Law 462, which reforms the Social Security Fund (CSS) and is widely condemned by educators, labor activists, and feminist organizations for threatening workers’ rights and national sovereignty.

Since late April, thousands of Panamanian teachers have left their classrooms and taken to the streets, demanding the immediate repeal of Law 462. The law, which protesters say paves the way for privatization of social security and hands over workers’ savings to private banks, has become a flashpoint for broader discontent with neoliberal policies and foreign interference. The strike has rapidly gained momentum, drawing in construction workers, indigenous groups, and feminist organizations, and echoing the massive anti-mining protests of 2023.

Teachers Defy Repression and Retaliation

Despite mounting government retaliation, including the withholding of salaries from thousands of striking educators and threats of mass firings, teachers remain steadfast in their demands. Union leaders such as Diógenes Sánchez and Fernando Abrego have denounced these reprisals as attempts to intimidate the movement and silence dissent.

“The strike will continue in spite of all the actions of intimidation and reprisals of the government”, affirmed Abrego, who also called for the resignation of top education officials complicit in the crackdown.

The teachers’ strike has galvanized a broad coalition of progressive forces. On May 25, the Women for Sovereignty, Social Justice, Human Rights, and Peace movement led marches in Panama City and other provinces, denouncing both the insurance law and the government’s security agreement with the United States.

Feminist leaders highlighted the intersectional impact of the crisis, noting that the rights of women, workers, and indigenous communities are being violated under the current administration. “Repression is not the answer. We demand dialogue, social justice, equity, and a real peace, built from participation, respect, and the notion of the good,” declared the coalition in a public statement.

At the heart of the protests is a rejection of neoliberal reforms and foreign interference. Demonstrators argue that Law 462 is designed to benefit private financial interests at the expense of workers’ pensions and public welfare. The recent memorandum of understanding with the United States, which expands the U.S. military presence in Panama, has further fueled anger, with activists warning that national sovereignty is under threat.

The Broad Front for Democracy (FAD) party and other left-wing organizations have denounced the government’s attempts to ignore popular will and Supreme Court rulings, while expressing solidarity with movement leaders facing persecution on false charges.

translation from unsere zeit, the communist party newspaper in germany:

complicity with Israel in the Bundesrat

article text

Timing is everything. Perhaps someone should have told the Bundesrat. Last Friday, the chamber of the federal states came together to pass a resolution on solidarity with Israel in the midst of the brutal genocide in Gaza. "60 years of German-Israeli relations" is the title of the resolution, which was tabled jointly by all the federal states. And yes, the government members of the "Left" and the BSW (Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht, translators note) had also joined in.

In terms of content, the resolution offered everything the "Staatsräson" desires: an emphasis on the "close and friendly" relationship, outrage at the "inhuman terrorist attacks by Hamas" and the "right to self-defense". As a fig leaf, "all parties involved in the conflict" were called upon to comply with international law, before continuing with concerns about "anti-Israeli hate demonstrations".

Business as usual while Gaza burns - surpassed only by the debate in plenary. As remote diagnoses are always difficult, we won't speculate on what NRW Media Minister Nathanael Liminski (CDU) was up to when he presented his interpretation of October 7, 2023 in rhyme form: "Hamas tortured, violated and filmed and broadcast all of this." (He did so to the rhythm of a known German children's rhyme, translators note) Hesse's Minister for European Affairs Manfred Pentz (CDU) called for "all means of the rule of law", including to take action against "imported anti-Semitism" - explicitly in universities, schools, at gatherings and in the art scene. In addition, the "denial of Israel's right to exist" should be made a punishable offense.

While calls were made to hunt down Palestine solidarity, the BSW and the "Left Party" kept a low profile. Once again, it is the state governments that are cuddling up to the warmongers beyond all party resolutions. The Bundesrats resolution is no different in thrust from the Bundestags "anti-Semitism resolution", which the BSW voted against and which "The Left" now officially rejects. But the outcry remains absent.

So, how does the drone attack affect peace talks? Does this extend the war significantly?

Second round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations ended after an hour, Turkey says "non-negative" outcome.

Looking into it more - Ukrainians presented completely unworkable demands that would effectively constitute Russian surrender. Including allowing them to join NATO, no limits on army size, and usage of Russian funds to reconstruct. Not surprising it was over so soon.

Meeting of the DKP party executive committee – The pressure against anti-Palestinian policies of must increase

article text

At the conference of the DKP party executive committee, which took place last weekend in Leverkusen, its chairman Patrik Köbele called for the protest against the genocide of Palestinians to be taken to the streets. UZ documents excerpts from the speech:

There is no word that sounds more terrible than genocide and yet we have to realize that Israel is escalating the genocide in Gaza and is both taking people hostage and starving them out in multiple violations of international law. The media are not above reporting that a Hamas hostage has been starved to death, while the more than two million inhabitants of the Gaza Strip are starving because Israel has been blocking the supply of food and aid for weeks. Then this starving population is urged by leaflets to flee immediately to another, also destroyed part of the Gaza Strip, because a few hours later they are bombed again and ground troops move in. When you see the few pictures in the media showing thousands of people with empty pots hoping for something to eat, it's heartbreaking. And the federal government? They don't think it's great either - although we don't know whether they are talking about the way people are being treated or the fact that pictures of it are being shown on television. The government continues to blather on about the Staatsräson (official euphemism for German-Israeli coercion, translators note).

There is protest against this in our country, some of which is repressively crushed. This resistance is still far too small. We, our party groups, must also do more to organize protest and solidarity with the Palestinian people and take this protest to the streets. The pressure against the anti-Palestinian policies of German politics must increase.

We must also make it very clear that this so-called Staatsräson is anti-Semitic at its core. Why? It is derived from the responsibility for the Shoah, i.e. the industrial mass extermination of Jews by the German fascists. To use this as a justification for claiming that it is Germany's responsibility to defend the so-called security of Israel is to portray Israel's policies as stemming from Judaism. That is in fact anti-Semitism. This policy of Israel has its cause in Israel's role as the agent of imperialism in the Middle East in combination with a murderous policy of Zionism.

Not sure why people are dooming about the drone attacks.

For one, Ukraine always massively exaggerates their supposed successes. For the other, there have been much worse incidents for Russia in this war, and things went on as if nothing happened.
