I am an Android 9 and my friend is on Android 10. some days ago Quick Share tile disappeared from his phone and yesterday evening it was gone from my phone too. I saw quick share in Google settings yesterday morning in my phone. I also checked the Google settings in his phone but it was not there. is Google removing quick share from our phones because it was not very reliable?

Get Localsend works on all major platforms including ios. No internet needed. You two can connect to a same wifi or each other's hotspot( it works).

Funny enough I went to use it for the first time like last week because GNOME featured a desktop app for it and I couldn't find it either.

On 15, still there.

Quack share works fine btw. Its your phone or roms issue. I'd use search, the button was probably moved.

I have it on Android 13, albeit badly patched. Maybe older versions have a critical security bug in the implementation, for which they need longer than the disclosure time to fix or are unable to do at all?
