Eh, I’ve lived with my best friend/roommate for 5 years and still haven’t boinked, even after getting stuck in the dryer a couple times. Not all roommates are partners.

How often do y'all get asked questions that clearly imply people think you are a couple?

[–] otacon239@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Only from one of our neighbors that I all but ignore at this point.

Getting stuck in the dryer only lead to sex with your step brother. It doesn't work on roommates

According to some... uh... documentaries I've seen it can also be a cousin, step parent/child, or repair man.

How do you get stuck in a dryer and how did it get repeated?

[–] TheLowestStone@lemmy.world 20 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Sometimes you're trying to reach that last sock and you just kind of get your head and shoulders wedged in there with your genitals fully exposed. This is a normal thing that happens to people all the time.

Or your head is stuck inside a force field of the drier.

It's not gay when you're saying "Ken, more" It's just making sure you get the maintenance request right.

I feel like the laugh-crying emojis might imply some knowledge.

I was thinking the same thing. Not everyone is oblivious.

You know, the background didn't really register with me until I saw your post. That completely changes the vibe of the post.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 7 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

It does however add credence to the argument that everyone actually is oblivious

Depends how hard they are trying not to see it.

Makes sense, denial is a powerful thing.

The mother might just be an archaeologist.
