I think that makes sense. He's over 30 and likely only has one shot left at a longer contract. Hopefully the dude can manage to stay healthy, look great, and get a 2-3 year contract next year.
After Dipo’s latest injury during the play-in, I think everyone is still holding their breath whether he can play again, or did I miss some good news?
Unless I'm misunderstanding, this means he exercised his option to stay with the Heat rather than go into free agency. So he's just using his contractual safest option rather than going onto the market. No good news injury-wise needed, in other words
