I would like to buy a Fairphone 6 and run e/os in it. Online of course they sell phones with me/os preinstalled, but at a local retailer I can get only the version with regular android.

I would prefer to buy from a local shop rather than buying online, so my question is, do they support e/os self installs the same as preinstalled e/os?

Thanks in advance!

@neo2478 you have to flash it yourself, which is not simple if you dont run linux and you have never done it before.
Also by buying online on the fairphone or the murena website you support open source.
If you buy on a reseller the Google version you will only support Google

Fair enough. I was just thinking about supporting the local economy, as the shop is a small store.

Is there any difference in customer support between buying from Fairphone or from murena?

@neo2478 I understand it is good to support local economy but it make more sense when the product is local.
For the warranty, no it should change nothing, with the proof of purchase you can directly contact Fairphone for the warranty, no matter where you buy it, it just have to be with the initial OS, in that case, /e/OS but Fairphone is so open to ROMs that it is maybe not a requirement anymore
