This article has nothing to do with EVs really. It’s about shitty chemical companies that have been polluting the environment producing chemical for other purposes previously, which now are also used in EVs.

This is an article about the need to regulate chemical companies but it’s being used as FUD for EVs.

I also don’t get it, even more so after the two answers to your comments.

I tried it, but not only does the experience not feel nearly as polished, the performance is much worse than Plex in my experience.

Solely for scientific reasons for my friend, where is the original image from?

After a fatal lab accident which killed Dee Dee, he focused his life work on creating her again from scratch, as he could not bear the guilt.

I live in a 274 year old building with original stained glass windows. The US mind cannot comprehend this.

People in this thread clearly have never been to Amsterdam. We have protected bike lanes, and where there is mixed traffic, bikes have preference and are actually respected by larger vehicles.

On the other hand, there has been an increase in accidents due to electric bikes going too fast mixed with normal bikes and pedestrians.

I don’t know, my wife’s Lego minifig head earrings or dinosaur earrings, where half the dinosaur is in front of the lobe and half behind are pretty legit.

Hi all, my brother is getting married soon, and I will be giving a speech at the reception.

Last year I was a plus one to a wedding, and someone read this beautiful poem about love in the modern age. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find it, and I haven’t been able to get an answer through the person I knew at the wedding.

The poem basically describes mundane situations in modern life. The main one I kind of remember revolved about being in an airport and possibly missing a flight.

Alternatively I am also open to suggestions of poems about how love is in the day to day mundane, and not only in big gestures.

Thanks in advance!

I’m too European to understand this

This is some late stage capitalism shit. Oh how generous we are, we allow you to be sick up to 5 days a year.

In my job in Europe, I get unlimited sick days as anyone should. If it’s long term, after the first year out, my salary drops from 100% to 70% for another year. Then the government takes over. And no, people do not abuse this system.

Also, obviously this is separate from my 30 days PTO.

The US needs to wake up!

Hi all, glad I found this community from the 3D printing one.

I’m looking to build. 2.4 and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good kit on Europe.

I did some googling, but most results I find are US or way too expensive.

I’m hoping to spend around €1000 without printed parts if possible, but willing to spend more for good quality parts.

Thanks in advance!

I do believe the biggest impact would come from regulating large companies and billionaires, but it’s not one or the other.

I imagine it would destroy the engine and the transmission, but it's just a guess.
