Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

The largest harvest season of the year is coming to California, which happens to be the largest agricultural state in the United States. California feeds the rest of the country 80% of its fruit, 60% of its vegetables, 90% of its nuts, 90% of its wine, and much more.

Farmworkers have decided to stop working soon (they will share the dates 2 days before the labor strike but they already know when it will hit the hardest because, well, they know the land better than anyone else and they’ve been picking these harvests for DECADES.)

Consumer advocates warn of higher food prices and less reliable access to produce if labor shortages persist. Research from Oxford Economics stated native-born workers are unlikely to replace lost immigrant labor, as their employment patterns differ significantly.

The future of American agriculture and food stability may hinge on how swiftly policymakers can respond to the sector's call for balancing enforcement with sustainable labor policies.
