Oh man, Red Zone Cuba was one of the first ones I watched with my now wife. She was the one that got me into mst3k, but she couldn't finish that one. Somehow I made it through, but even the crew couldn't save it, and I've never watched it again.

Confused about Lemmy/Fediverse? Here's a useful infographic
I agree, it's such a slog.
Love Skydivers and RZC, both excellent episodes IMO. Never really enjoyed Yucca Flats as much though.
Skydivers is an interesting one - I actually think there's a decent enough movie in there somewhere. The plot is pretty easy to follow (despite what Frank says when introducing it!) and there's potential for a proper film there, if handled better and if they had actors do their own skydiving instead of vice versa.
It'd never get made nowadays, but I can imagine it as a mid-budget 90s action thriller or something, in the vein of Cliffhanger or Point Break or whatever.
Skydivers is my favorite of the Francis trilogy for sure! There's something compelling about it that I can't put my finger on.
