Hasn’t this kind of thing already been done? I seem to recall, “walking with dinosaurs”, and then a whole bunch of similar stuff that aired on Discovery and National Geographic. These CGI animal shows must be really cheap to produce now. There was a time when making Jurassic Park cost a fortune.

Walking with Dinosaurs was 26 years ago and looks like a PS2 game. I'm sure it's cheaper now, but more importantly it actually looks pretty damn good.

Plus they got Attenborough to narrate, at least for the first season, and that alone makes it a concept worth creating IMO.

We also learn constantly new things, theories are being challenged and changed to fit this new evidence. So making a new documentary every few years is very good, because it keeps us updated.
