And we found the shark.

Cage is a good actor if he's given good material. Get John Travolta to be the other detective or the murderer and this could be great.

This show had a great first season but since then its downfall is like no other.

Yeah but 'Detectives Solve Murder' is an evergreen concept.

season 2 is really good imo, much better than s3 and presumably s4

I liked S02 much more than S01.

S01 is better made and more consistent, but I thought the theme and the ending of S02 was pretty unique for an American series.

S04 was OK and had a good start but IMO it went nowhere. S02 (and S01 for that matter) had a much more coherent beginning, middle and end structure.

Hm maybe I misjudged S02? Tbh I felt it had a good vibe but the plot was kinda jumbled up... Definitely wasn't as sinister as the first. Maybe I should re-watch it.

Please no.

I've seen a couple of his more recent 'serious' projects and he just ruins it when he's on screen. He doesn't even try in his longlegs movie

He has money problems so he does a lot of bad movies to keep getting paid, but he can still be good when it's a good movie at its core.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was amazing.

If true detective is good (I don't watch it) he'll be good.

Was Pig one of those? Just curious since it’s one I’ve seen.
