We're not homeless, we're houseless! By choice or by circumstance we are living in our vehicles. Don't worry about us -- it can be a very good life.

Anything that affects us as vehicle-dwellers is probably on topic.

I knew I had a slow leak and decided today was the day to do something about it. I'd tried a plug repair years back and failed. This time it worked great.

It's no big whoop to lots of folks but it was a first successful tire repair in the field for me. My confidence is increased. :-)

It's a handy thing to know how to do. Sometimes it's easier to plug a flat tire instead of swapping in the spare tire.

If you ride a motorcycle it's pretty much a mandatory skill because there's no spare tire!

People worry about a plugged tire being unsafe but I've ridden motorcycle tires with plugs down to the cords.

I bought a smaller kit for the 250cc scooter just in case. Those lighter tires have got to be easier to work with than the heavy truck tire!
