It's just as bad and violence will happen rather soon imo. It's a combination of declining living standards blamed on migrants, white supremacy and colonial mentality legacy and, to be honest, the many terrorist attacks during the 2015-2017 period didn't help either.

Violence is already sort of beginning, such as the anti-migrant pogroms in the UK and murders carried out by Frontex.

I guess the real question is: how soon until it gets really bad?

Europe's economic and military punishment against people in the global south simply causes those same troubles to come back home to roost.

European Islamophobia is merely the people of Europe deciding to get mad at the boomerang, rather than their governments and ruling class who threw it in the first place.
