I was down at Parliament Hill today, and I saw a drone loitering over the cenotaph. It was clearly a police drone because it had little blue and red lights flashing on the underside. Later I saw the thing head over to the Chateau, get a fresh battery, before resuming its position.

Sadly, it didn't seem to have a little RCMP hat or serge. Nor did it make "weeooo weeooo" noises.

I saw one the other day on my evening walk

At idea what they’re using them for? This was not on a major road or anything, they were pulled off in a quiet industrial area.

My wife gives the finger to drones (she fucking hates the things because they’re invasive as heck), had no idea it was police until we saw their car lol

I have no idea. I assumed it was a police thing because of the lights and location.

It was subtle - high up and small. My kid was the one who initially saw it.
