Have you tried the auto alt text generation baked into software like the latest Microsoft Office? It has some inaccuracies, but is getting better.
Sometimes I forget to write alt texts, but this was the first time I wrote one, and I'm happy because you could read it.
It was good for finding useful information online and doom scrolling, now it's reached its EOL
When owners want desperately to be more richer through NFTs, IPOs, and other obscure things, this is what happens. Now that useful information is useful to feed an AI.
