This was not embedded or anything, but just tapping the link opened the web page in a browser and the video played back fine without excessive buffering or anything

Mlem app embeds loops.

I was able to watch the video from my feed.

Summit embeds just the thumbnail, which had me confused for a sec until I noticed the link to the video below it that I could click and that played perfectly fine then.
