I know there is barely anyone here, but maybe some of you want to chime in with predictions of what is going to be announced next week.

There is of course the much feared subscription model which will most likely kill most of Affinity's popularity.

I really hope the freedom refers to v3 supporting Linux. It is a slim chance but it would further hit the niche of people who want to get away from closed ecosystems like Adobe or Apple.

Oh damn, I missed the news of the Canva takeover it seems. Knowing that I assume generative AI features used as an excuse to push subscription.

I do however really hope you're right and they add Linux support because I would love that!

No idea. I would have said ai, but probably online / subscription only collab. Nothing good. Won't be Linux as that would something actually useful for people wanting to move from windows, but wouldn't make canva any money.
