It's seems right that we should have a local community to help us all with PieFed

c/PoliticalMemes is not appearing under new, local or elsewhere but the community is there and apparently working. It even shows up in the new communities in the sidebar. To be sure, I posted to another community and it showed up as it normally would.

On your settings page under the filters tab, make sure that you can see low-quality communities. rimu has piefed.social mark any community with meme in the title as low-quality by default.

haha, what have I gotten myself into? Thank you, @wjs018@piefed.social!

Edit: That worked.

Is there an api for this yet? This would be a great setting to have in apps.

The ability to edit the setting is not in the api, but the list of posts returned in your feed via the api will respect this setting if you change it in the web ui. There are a number of settings that have been on my todo list at some point to add to the api. Thanks for the reminder.

Update: This will be in the api for 1.4 and on. I just made the pull request that adds a ton of the user settings to the api that are currently web ui only.

I can see it when browsing by /new/ and /local/

Weird, it should be just above the Shogun c/Television post but not appearing for me. Maybe I need to clear some temp memory, do a restart. Thanks so much for your input, @Skavau@piefed.social
