Yes, but at what cost? Have you considered that glare off the panels might get in a bird’s eye and that will annoy them? Not so generous now, is it?

doesn't sound like a problem to me
At the cost of the USs efforts to make Cuba look like a shithole.
And the ecological disaster that follows from smelt fish landing on it!
Hopefully it only blinds the invasive birds that have outcompeted indigenous species
Such an easy W, I would love to see the engineering specs of solar panels designed to resist hurricane winds. Love resilient renewable energy infrastructure feels good
i think in case of houses it's fairly reasonable to just bolt them on real tight on tilted roof (where wind either can tear the whole structure off or it can't and panels don't really matter), or make them foldable for flat roofs (which is what cuba has), but idk what is done in this case
that's fantastic!
This is awesome, but I do wonder about small island nations being able to switch to renewables. Of course tropical storms are an issue, but also just having the land for it. Perhaps a pipeline of green hydrogen would be best (assuming a world where green hydrogen is being produced and the seller is not gouging the price).
i mean, you can oversupply macmansion with just roof solar, so single family houses likely can deal with it just on their own territory, if with reduced output per person, it's rare they have energy intensive productions (by a lot of accounts, home solarification is like 4-5k in materials, without fullblown batteries and ignoring grid issues)
US about to declare Cuba part of the 'Cartel of the Sun'.
Let me have hope for half a year
And lindsey cracker already did, if you didn’t know
KKKhristians in 10 years: We need to go back to worshipping Jesus and not the Sun. SAY NO TO SOLAR! IT IS THE DEVIL!
Huge w.
Hey Xi can we get some over here pleas

probably at utilization rates of 1-1.5%, depending on batteries and transmission
