Don't forget that they also buy from companies that use child slaves for profit.

Didn’t they also kill a ton of infants by aggressively pushing formula in developing countries?

Was that nestle? I feel like that was some other formula company, and they also pushed it in the states and caused a shitload of malnutrition like everywhere for a bit.

Edit: no it was nestle I’m wrong.

If there's any doubt about something absolutely inexcusably blatantly evil, it was either nestle, the zionists, or Reagan.

Youll be right like 90% of the time.

Edit: or kissenger. Brings it up to like 99 if youre not in the USSR.

Don't we all?

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 16 points 3 months ago

They've done infinitely worse for babies than this.

Certainly wouldn't be the first time. Isn't it great that these companies get to kill people then just stay around and keep doing the same things over and over?

Woah woah woah, those aren't companies those are people. Unless you're talking about crimes. Then those are companies but if they're going to get fined for their actions, then they might be Schrodinger's corporation.

Didn't we already go through this with them adding sugar to baby formula in Africa?

[–] darthelmet@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 months ago

In that case, they pushed baby formula in an attempt to get mothers to stop lactating, thus becoming dependent on their formula. In addition to this not being as nutritious as regular breast milk, it needed to be mixed with water, which often wasn't clean. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1977_Nestl%C3%A9_boycott

This isn't even the first time an American company has purposely endangered African babies with dangerous or contaminated baby food. It's like they are pure evil.
