A perfect storm is hitting Ukraine, as political, battlefield, financial, and infrastructural pressure mount to unprecedented levels since the war began. Full grid collapse is now on the table. It’s just a question of if the Russians will choose to pull the plug.

Yeah. Russia is walking a pretty fine line here, between keeping the Ukrainian military industry and transport network at a very dysfunctional level, while not causing an outright humanitarian crisis for the civilian population (the Kiev regime is already doing that with all the forcible conscriptions).

The whole thing is a mess that could have easily been avoided but power sees humans as expendable. I remember when that realization hit, I was thinking about chess and pawns, and perpetual war IRL.
