The ignorance of Saudi human rights abuses has to be deliberate at this point.
I think two things can be true...
- The film industry in Saudi Arabia is currently a more favorable environment for creative voices (compared to the cold, calculated movie executives in U.S.)
- They're funding it with blood money
One doesn't forgive, justify, or defend the other though
Does she not realize the Saudis are major space owners?
