I've revently read some cope from germany that the idea that i think china floated about space datacenters would not work. This is the same category. Us primitive westerners cant even comprehend the speed that china is developing at now. I'm torn between fighting for liberating my country and liberating myself by moving to china.

Honestly, I'm in the latter camp at this point. I simply can't see the conditions for anything actually getting better in the west in the foreseeable future. And the reality is that vast majority of the public simply wants to perpetuate the system we have. It's incredibly psychologically draining to live in a society that fundamentally disagrees with you on how it should run. I'd rather use my skills to help develop a society I believe in.

I can see the allure. I'll keep thinking about that one. I was ready to move at some point. Rn i feel like things are slowly moving. I will just develop my understanding of china as much as possible and if push comes to shove, I'll decide.
