I feel like moving to ZGC was definitely a good move, since it works better than G1GC (even has better average throughput on my Intel Celeron N3060 laptop, considering stutters).

They should've also used compact object headers, and made the RAM allocation dynamic (alloc = max(available resources / 2, 2)), though.
