Stellantis has confirmed it is stopping all of its plug-in hybrid models. All of them. That means the iconic Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the upscale Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, and the versatile Chrysler Pacifica PHEV will not return for 2026. This marks a full stop, not a pause, on Stellantis’ existing PHEV program in North America.

All this protectionism is regressing the American automotive car industry into irrelevance with the rest of the world. In the meantime all US citizens are held hostage stuck paying for behemoth gas guzzlers.
