Rules

No Sourcing - Do not request sources of any drugs at any time. This includes unregulated research chemicals. Any attempts, including "hit me up in DMs" type of requests, will result in a ban. This rule is necessary to keep this community open.

Harm Reduction - Do not recommend inherently dangerous doses or combinations of substances, or otherwise encourage behavior more risky than drug use already is by default. Clear attempts at causing intentional harm will result in a ban.

Avoid Dangerous Recommendations - Avoid recommending substances that have a reasonable chance of causing considerable harm to the user. For example, DPH, inhalants, or opioids. This rule is necessary to conform with Lemmy.World's Terms of Service. Posts violating this rule will be removed.

I’d hazard nobody alive has. Coca leaves were removed from the formula in 1903, bottling started in 1894.

Unless you mean doing a line and then drinking a Coca Cola?

There have been a few old bottles people drank on youtube but obviously those had degraded and wasn't like it would have been. L.A. Beast comes to mind.

Actually they're still part of the formula, I belive. They're just de-cocanized, they're allegedly still a flavoring agent

Dont they have "real" Coca Cola in some of the cocainey places like Colombia?

[–] TragicNotCute@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

That’s what I found as well. It’s used as a flavoring agent still.

Regarding actual cocaine in Coca Cola, no. No where in the world produces Coke like that.

I live in colombia. The coca-cola is exactly the same as the ones i drank in the US. Pretty sure they get the syrup from the US and just bottle it in the local companies using local water and sugar.

From the story I was told, my great great great grandfather tried it, when the original maker was going around looking for investors. He didn't like the taste, and didn't invest.

Easy to say in hindsight, actually he was very successful, which is why coke came to him for money.

I don't like any carbonated drinks personally lol. Feels bad on my tongue. Like liquid sandpaper.
