Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

For me it's how fucking fast it all hit. One minute I'm young, young! Next thing I know I'm putting on belly fat like there's no tomorrow, and I'm groaning getting off the sofa.

I was kicking it pretty well then menopause hit and now my thermoregulation is fuucked and and my muscle tone is disappearing like crazy despite doing the same amount of heavy labour.

Tiredness wasn't menopause though, it was a mis-prescribed med for a misdiagnosed acid reflux (turns out i'm just slightly allergic to vanilla coke...dammit) that should never have been prescribed to someone with chronically low iron levels.

Protip kiddies: don't take esopramazol / nexium if you have low iron issues. It fucking blocks gut absorption.

Acne with perimenopause/menopause. It makes sense when you think about it, but it’s not as talked about so I didn’t know. Becoming a hot sleeper. I can’t sleep with a blanket unless it’s really cold. And I’ll spend all day cold until it’s time to sleep and then I’m hot all night.

White hair. I've been slowly balding since my late teens early twenties. That doesn't really bother me too much. But out of nowhere the sides of my head are gray I'm seeing gray hair or should I say white because I get to skip Gray thanks to family genetics. But I've got white hair on my shoulders in my beard like what the fuck

Dry skin. It's as if my sebaceous glands just switched off after menopause.

Apparently age 35 is the "best before" date for most people.
