Surprised to see we're getting one more episode this season. I'm usually team Adam but the curse of the express route plan will be fun to see in action.

Yeah I was quite surprised when the episode ended. I think this is the first time this season an episode hasn't neatly lined up with over run?
I'm usually team "whoever's running right now", so this great for me.
I've been team Ben for a while, he's like a chaotic little scamp.
BTW If you haven't heard this episode of the layover, you might want to sit it out. They kinda spoil how Ben's plan pans out.
Either not spoiled entirely, or I missed it. We see at the end of this ep a play, which I think is enough to make the event mentioned in the layover happen just on extra travel time from that act. The line Ben is on is really slow and a bit irregular while still within the rules because of trains serving only his part of the line and things like that.
If the seekers are willing to ignore the first train back, gift Ben a little time and instead get the next service which terminates in Ben's town, it'll wreck his plan.
We can't conclude from the layover how the plan pans out totally. It could still go either way. But we can suspect from how annoyed someone sounds!
I though the final monologue was very funny, made all the better by him getting increasingly pixelated as the camera zoomed in :D
I would have liked to see the queue curse, but I think it's fair enough that he didn't take it, especially since they're on their way straight to him.
He was probably right to play it safe, but I was shouting at the TV to choose the hand expansion + draw one card! I know Sam's run got messed up for not having enough time bonuses, but it was so early in the round that the risk seemed worth it to me.
The first section where Adam just pestered Sam to give him Edinburgh facts was awesome. Could tell he'd had enough of hearing that Sam spent 4 years there 😂
Sam's spent time in Edinburgh?!? That's the first I've heard about it. /s

Was the curse playble in the end game? I think it would be a nuisance in small town. But it's not as good as what he had.

I thought Adam was parodying the annoying US tourists and tour guides that get in the way in the city centre and tell each other made-up stuff!

I don't think so, since you have to be in a queue when you cast it (and therefore not in your hiding spot). I guess he could have played it while they were on the line to him, but I reckon the hiding zone is built up enough that they could've cleared it relatively quickly.
