At this point, I'm not sure rich people in the US can be harmed from the outside. Whatever they lose, they will steal from you to compensate.

That implies they have absolute authority, which is just silly. As powerful as the rich have become in the USA, they require support of the people to do anything at all.
Yeah, it's that item 2 that is looking incorrect.
But by any means, I'll be glad to be proven wrong.
The rich elected Donald Trump and tried to take away Medicaid funding, but Medicaid is still getting its money, just as one high profile example among many.
There's been a lot of talk about the US economy failing due to this, but I have changed my mind and think there are too many rich people that would be harmed by this on both sides. The rich will whip their politicians into shape and the money will continue to be squeezed from the working class. Europe is quick to criticize, but they worship the dollar too and are headed right down the same fascism road the US is.

That wave has already crested in Canada/Aus/EU and is on the decline, in large part because the rest of us have seen the clusterfuck unfolding in the US and recided to do the opposite of whatever Americans are doing.
I hope the best for you guys. Hopefully you can do what we couldn't. I remember when Biden was elected thinking, "Phew, it's finally over. We can move on."
