Oh, one must replace it with 'SA apologia'...? There's not other mods there to change that....
Embassy of Hexbear on Lemmygrad
Hexbear's Diplomatic Mission to Lemmygrad
Fostering friendly relations between the sister socialist Intances of Lemmygrad and Hexbear

Yeah, my understanding is that would fix it. I do think an admin would need to fix it, but thought I should take more of a straightforward approach towards explaining the issue than I did previously before just pinging folks.
BayArea created that community, damn that was a long time ago, poor dude.
Hey @GrainEater@lemmygrad.ml, since you said:
we should still fix any federation issues that exist between Lemmygrad and Hexbear
elsewhere, you get to be the first to hear me whine about federation issues.
Any chance the !socialism@lemmygrad.ml sidebar could get updated to resolve this?
I've changed the sidebar for /c/socialism. If you have a GitHub account, you can create an issue in the Lemmy repository describing the problem so the devs can fix it properly
Thanks!
I wasn’t 100% sure it’s actually a bug - I guess the sidebar text could similarly be replaced with removed and in this particular case that probably makes sense, but, as an example, it would also make sense to me that an “ok buddy” comm not federate somewhere that blocks ableist words.
Anyways, yeah, I can open an issue on GitHub at some point so that some call can be made about how best to handle this sort of issue, but using any of my existing accounts would be exceedingly poor opsec, and even if the libs in my life know I’m a filthy commie, they don’t need to also tie me to this username quite so easily.
The rules are all part of the Lemmygrad instance rules so we can just remove them. Only mods can edit a community description but I'll let the other admins know
