As a maintainer, you should handle all issues, and yes, maybe classify them into "low importance" or even close issues where not enough data could be provided. But letting them dissapear under the rug??

I believe these stale bots are put by people who want to keep their issues at a low number so they look "better maintained" or something. Awful behaviour.
