It's really not. I get that the US have a lot of problems, especially when it comes to training people to deescalate, not use force when it's not absolutely required etc, but it's not the same on all countries.

Like... I'm from Germany. Police here are trained for years, with a focus on values and deescalation, before they commence their service. This really results in a relationship of trust between them and the citizens, like when they e.g. arrest people and tie them down to burn them alive in their cells instead of shooting them. Or when they don't run rampant in the streets to kill or citizens (duh) but instead finance right wing terrorist groups that then kill citizens. You see?
