I just got done setting up this old beast. I call it beast because this thing is HEAVY. Everything's in working order but I'm waiting for a new cartridge/stylus. What's on there now was good shit in 1980 when the person I bought it from bought it new as far as I can tell, but it sounds like shit IMO. Stylus needs replaced at a minimum. I have a couple old Technics turntables also, but there's just something about this one I dig.

The Sanyo "Plus Series" gear was one of their occasional attempts to compete with higher end brands. It's pretty well regarded but sort of scarcer.

Nice! Thanks for the info. I ordered two cartridges and another headshell. I'm fairly new to the cartridge/stylus stuff so I ordered a couple to see what I like better. I wish there was a shop in my town where I could buy that stuff, bit there's not and the Radio Shack closed down years ago. The anticipation waiting for this stuff through the mail kills me. lol

Baby looks clean and in good order, that arm assembly and head should serve you well. It might take a bit of looking, but I'll recommend trying to get your mitts on a turntable with the repeat option (it's everything you'd dream that it could be and more lol).
