Artist commentary:

The ocean. It contains many a thing, but the one thing it is absolutely brimming with is Facts. In these comics, you will learn many such facts, all of which are 100% certifiably true and accurate. My brother is a marine biologist, so of course I am at the forefront of the sea sciences.

Hey everyone! This is a new community focused on NonPolitical Comics (NPCs), which essentially means no gloom and doom of the day stuff.

If you like the idea, we need help! Take a couple of minutes to find a comic that you like and post it here for the rest of us!

It's neat to see the mermaid's venom sacs deplete after biting the sailor. Nice attention to the lore.

I'm assuming not all was injected as he would have like half a head's worth of venom in him

Oh nice, I didn't notice that myself. Now admit it, you were staring at them for... Other reasons.

I was staring for lesbian reasons.

I'm actually invested in the story, goofy though it may be

Remember, this is an educational comic documentary about true ocean facts

Fun actual ocean fact: A single milliliter of coastal water can contain 10 million viruses, and there are more viruses in the ocean than stars in the known universe.

This is the 4th part I've posted so far. If you read the post body you'll find links to the previous posts and the comments

Thanks for sharing the comic, by the way! I hadn't read it before (or any of their other work), but it's really fun!

You're welcome! I wanted to post some artists that weren't as often seen in the reddit / lemmy circles.

[–] maltasoron@sopuli.xyz 2 points 3 days ago

Oh sorry, I see the link now

The back dimples are a nice touch.

Is there an RSS feed for this?
