I know fast storage is at a premium right now, is that something that the community can contribute to? I know very little about hosting these services so IDK if that's helpful.

I have been unable to get lemmy to load for some time today. The matrix server is unreachable and even the sharkey instance was having issues. I posted on sharkey to let the admins know but they are on austrailia time so they tend to be up when I am not.

I was told the term comes from your dead name being what they put on your tombstone. The name you'd be unwillingly known as after you died. The erasure of trans lives by transphobic family members. I don't think its wrong to use it outside of that context but it would be bad to lose that history.

That stuff does seem like table stakes to me. I've only done telehealth with people who were pretty chill. Sounds like there's some real bad practices if this is abnormal.
