Also. At one point in time , thumbs down were visible on YouTube .
Also Facebook used to have a thumbs down too.
They got rid of it and replaced it with the 5 or so reaction emojis.
Cause it's tricky when someone is like "my cat died" and then people like it.
Also. For FB, the reaction option is great for them because it helps them see what posts are most polarized. And it helps them psychologically profile people to manipulate them. So it's a win win for Facebook shareholders.
