I'm of the opinion that 2 meals a day is plenty for older people. Source, am older person. I used to eat 6000 calories or more a day. Now 2k is putting me close to gaining weight.

I'm a younger person but I sit at a desk most days for 8 hours. I do not need bulk calories. Sometimes just one big meal is enough. I certainly don't need three
