What if Chomsky was the only one ACTUALLY associated with Epstein for tax advice. He was too autistic to get the whole wink wink nudge nudge routine and was just like "Jeff I have a real nightmare of a tax situation I need help with, but I don't see why I'd need to take a trip to the Bahamas: can I just email my documents to you?"

That's too much delulu good faith towards Chomsky TBH

Sure, but to be fair, getting mad at this is like calling someone a pervert for asking questions about the food at Hooters. Sure, they're going to eat at a perverted restaurant, but the specific action they are taking is at least about food and not sex.

I'm not saying that it's true, it'd just be extremely funny.

I feel like that would be a good comedy of errors. Epstein, played by Steve Martin, has to keep up appearances of legitimate tax advice while hiding his child trafficking ring from Noam, played by John Candy. Hilarity ensues as a number of close calls almost reveal the truth.

Goddammit I'd watch that

Michael Parenti's Inventing Reality: The Politics of News Media has always been better than Manufacturing Consent. Maybe to honor Parenti it might be a better name for c/ManufacturingConsent , and not after Chomsky? On Chomsky is also a fantastic read for why the left should reject him.

Very good read, I found Chomsky to be a condescending racist pos but he's so much worse lmao

Yea, he's pretty much the stereotype of the western faux-left intelligentsia.

Of all the people on the list this is the only one that surprised me.

Epstein has always had close ties to MIT and there was a big scandal about them accepting donations.

It's also been own for several years that Chomsky stayed at Epstein's Paris home at least once, and publicly apologized for his association with Epstein iirc.

Why? Chomsky's always been shitty. On Chomsky is also a fantastic read for why the left should reject him.
