This is some great technology. I have similar devices in my E-mu Emulator 5000 Ultra sampler that allow the use of a modern SSD HDD on the IDE bus which can hold hundreds of sample CDs. Also on my SY-77 replaced the floppy drive with one of these so I can save and load patches from microSD, GoTek makes them for a number of synths and samplers, really makes them easier to use.
