I haven't lately, but I'm always calmer when I have meditated. Taking this as my reminder to start it up again.
Mantra meditation, moving meditation, every day.
One should meditate every day until they want to meditate every day. It’s the seventh limb of yoga. I practice every day at least once. If more humans did, the world would be a very different place, for the better.
Only at night when I wake up at 4am and can't fall back asleep. Meditating is one of the few things that can get my mind to slow down so I can sleep.
I practice qigong as a sometimes moving (different exercises) and sometimes static standing (zhan zhuang) meditation twice a day.
I'm careful to say "I practice it as a meditation" because there are many different types of qigong and many different ways that people practice it. Some types aren't meditative and some people practice the same exercises but on a purely physical level.
You can think of it as being a moving or static meditation with health benefits.
I don't, but I guess tending to the garden and taking walks is kind of meditative
