I've seen this meme so many times and it fucking never gets old because it really does encapsulate how absurd your standard X-Files episode is.
A good Xfiles episode is a lot like a good TOS episode -- campy and fucking ridiculous, but man is it a good time.
The actors and the characters feel genuinely passionate and they bring you along for the ride
I think they are awesome. Rewatched nearly all seasons a year ago. :) Moulder is not a great actor. He just reads his lines. But Gillian can act, she is one big reason why I like it. She was also excellent in The Fall. I also really liked Cancer Man.
