Pretty cool! I've played a few rounds I'm pretty sure I dueled you
Idk if I'm stupid but I can't see enemy health
Also any advice on the landscape/nature images?
Geography is just physics slowed down, with a couple of trees stuck in it. - Terry Pratchett

Notice Board
Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. Geographers explore both the physical properties of Earth’s surface and the human societies spread across it. They also examine how human culture interacts with the natural environment and the way that locations and places can have an impact on people. Geography seeks to understand where things are found, why they are there, and how they develop and change over time. Read more...

Glad you enjoyed it! The issue with health bars not showing should be fixed now, thanks for letting me know. Landscape photos are always very difficult, I'm working on adding more images with better clues like language to make it a little easier. Guessing based on landscape alone is very hard but a single structure or village in the distance can make it much easier (and more fun).
How would you feel about asking for contributions from users around the world? Although that might be a moderation issue (many people will send buttholes)
Already a feature! Press the camera icon in the top right and you can upload your own images.
I think your link markdown is backwards — I see a full URL with schema but can't click it.
Fixed, thanks for letting me know
Sure!
Played a little. I enjoy the photos. A lot of them are pretty hard to place, if they don't have human-made structures especially, so I feel like I'm often guessing.
Are you tracking the distribution of guess accuracy per photo?
It's interesting. The one UX thing that felt unintuitive to me is I have to go back and click the same 'make guess' button to guess. Maybe changing the text once the map opens or otherwise giving some visual indicator might make that more clear to a new player?
Thanks for the suggestion, I've changed it to 'open map' until the map is opened, then it changes to 'make guess'.
Can't open the link with Firefox on Android
I'm guessing that was while OP had trouble balancing the hug of Lemmy. Works fine for me with Firefox on Android with uBlock Origin.
