He joins at 15 and leaves for the Academy after his 18th birthday so either way I'm calling the space cops

Pretty sure a twink is a twink is a twink by late teens.

EDIT:

The stereotypical twink is 18-22, slender with little or no body hair, often blonde, dresses in club wear.

I think a sweater onesie could fall under that category.
