The Ukrainian one is...wow. I mean I wouldn't want to die for a lost cause but I wouldn't want to participate in a genocide either. What a shit choice. I'm wondering how many Ukrainians manage to defect to Russia.

It is not even legal under canadian laws

The Foreign Enlistment Act states, “Any person who, within Canada, recruits or otherwise induces any person or body of persons to enlist or to accept any commission or engagement in the armed forces of any foreign state or other armed forces operating in that state is guilty of an offence

That law is only about recruitment on Canadian soil.
