Virginia paid for that flag with slave labor and exploitation. They had dozens made just the same, and it didn't matter to them until they lost it.
Minnesota paid for that flag with blood. We were tasked with getting that flag, and so we did. We have exactly one.
It's our heritage, our history. Virginia's politicians spit on the memory of those Minnesotans every time they ask.
