Unfortunately it shows that we have as large a contingent of Canadians that really do not care what happens to others so long as they think they are immune to the fallout. I've got a relative in the US now who sends periodic texts about how great he is being treated etc. He was a bit miffed when someone pointed out that he is obviously too old to work so no one is worried he's there to work illegally and he is as white as they come and male. So of course HE isn't having any problems. A*** doesn't care that many other people are having problems. So long as he's got his. In this case, he actually is a boomer to boot although he'd tell you that Canadian taxes have made him so poor that we should pity him (but he is still able to spend 6 months in the US every winter).
Boycott US
Overview:
The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.
Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.
America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.
America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

With how overly packed American slopes get, to the point that locals can have a hard time having the opportunity themselves, that's probably for the best in more ways than one.
I’m ashamed for the 59% still going. Especially for winter shit. C’mon.
I'm actually sad that it's only 41% decrease.
I mean, that's great, but nobody fucking needs to go to the US to ski.
Wouldn’t there be better skiing in Canada? I’m of the mind it’s like comparing Australian ski slopes to NZ.
I used to frequent a pretty great ski area that is on the Canadian border. They used to list all prices in USD and CAD. It was fun pretending to not understand French while they talked in the lift lines.
Going back there in a couple of weeks, gonna miss those canucks. Tabernac!
We have a lot of flat areas or inaccessible areas
Who, Australia or NZ?
I got nothing to go on, I’ve been to neither ski field but I’ve heard repeatedly that NZ is a different league.
That's good, but also there's no fucking snow.
Plenty of snow here in Canada
Why would Canadians not want to leave their good snow to try out the American snow-less fascist slopes? It's a mystery!
Driving over the cascades and Rockies in rain... in February is pretty fuckin weird.
Not a very hard boycott, definitely easier and better to avoid the hassle of traveling there all together
They have the better rocky slopes anyway?
