They shouldn't be there to begin with. They keep these bases as power projection of an (waning in the case of European countries) imperial power.

They have no business being there, militaries abroad frequently engage in terror against random ass civilians
It's as if these countries all build bases in other countries for the sole purpose of causing problems that have nothing to do with their homeland.
I wonder if I'll ever see bombs dropped on American soil in my life.
