I agree with most of that. I don’t really like the Watt limits as a 100lb person/child would accelerate faster and potentially more dangerously than a 180lb person. I think a acceleration curve would be better and would potentially be better for extremely overweight individuals who want to work on getting in shape without getting stuck somewhere.

As a guy with a family who make a lot of use of class 1 e-bikes, this sounds good to me!
