Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Why is there no option to just keep it on screen? Why am I beholden to fedora's opinions on what a "text field" is? Don't they know I like to let my key caps air dry for a day before I put them back? Don't they know my kids broke my backup keyboard?

I just put mine in a towel and shake em for a few minutes after manually towel drying the outside.
Although a bingo roller cage thing and a fan might be a good way to dry them quickly.
I'm anal........... ;)
Fr tho my natural inclination is always to rush and I've messed up electronics that way before, not keyboards, but better for me to overdo it lol
