On a less complainy note: I have successfully taught my cat to sit up on her hind legs for treats!

That is awesome !
It went from 75* to 40* and flurries. I was unprepared.
We're expecting that tomorrow.
My workplace is pushing AI really hard. One of the managers told the team I'm in to "use this particular tool, treat it like a personal assistant that's good at multitasking!"
Well. I tried to have the tool do a straightforward task, and it failed spectacularly. It failed like someone using weaponized incompetence to ensure that they would never again be asked to do this task: it technically completed it, but so badly I had to spend twice as much time cleaning up and redoing the task properly as it would have taken to just do it myself.
Anyway, I'm not trying to make a point, just venting about something a lot of us will find relatable.
Ugh! My job is doing the same. I tried to have it give me a notification if certain sites were mentioned in the mountain of automated emails I receive. It comes up with a plan everything looks reasonable. Then at the end. "I can't access your email directly but you can copy and paste the subject lines into the prompt and I can give you a notification if any match your sites." Literally creating more work.
