New mclusky EP tomorrow. They're the only band to consistently make songs that sound like the inside of my head. The teaser track they leaked this week is pretty good.

Well, I oiled my wooden sword this morning. Fun fact: oiling wooden weapons helps prevent cracking when they're struck (or strike something like another wooden weapon.)
One day I'm going to get a naginata.
More weapons fun fact: in ancient Japan (at least in some eras), the naginata was traditionally used by (largely upper-class I think?) women.
I like to believe this means that at some point, someone looked at this weapon that's basically a sword on a bigass stick and went "ah yes, the epitome of femininity". If I'm wrong, nobody tell me.
The sword is nasty. We must put it on a long pole so it is away from the woman. -- some Japanese guy, probably.
I went to a local establishment and caught a cold on Sunday. So what’s going on? Affirmation of my mild agoraphobia.
My brain went "agoraphobia = fear of heights". I was very confused until I looked it up. Fear of crowds/public spaces makes more sense.
